Acer Inc. has surpassed the world leader of PC sales Dell to become the second largest supplier of notebook PCs in Europe, according to senior executives of Acer during a meeting in Bangkok, where they announced their goal to reach a 100 percent sales growth in two years and even push sales to US10 billion within three years.

According to analysts, Acer presently controls slightly under 4 percent of the all over PC sales on the world market. Acer president Wang Chen-tan said that his company outsold Dell computer in the European market in the second quarter of this year.

According to Wang, the next 10 years will be a decade for high-speed growth in the world market. Acer now enjoys a sales gain of more than 45 percent every year or over 100 percent for a whole year, he said.
