Transcend Co., a leading manufacturer of motherboards and add-ons,
is displaying new Rambus RDRAM memory modules. RDRAM modules are
designed for networks that call for the fastest possible transmission
speeds at low memory capacities. They are especially suited for
use with systems built around the Intel Pentium 4 processor. Also
on display are the recently developed DDR memory modules in 64MB,
128MB and 256MB capacities. The 128MB abd 256MB versions are available
in ECC as well as non-ECC versions, with a registered version also
available for the 256MB capacitiy modules.
For the users of digital cameras, handheld computers, and other
small digital devices in the IA category, the company displays its
latest developments in CompactFlash, MultiMediaCard and SmartMedia
memory cards. To add economical capacity to the memory of Sunblade
1000 workstations, Transcend shows new 1GB and 4GB memory kits,
allowing them to perform graphical abd computing operations that
require very high memory capacity.
TS-ABD4 is Transcend's new motherboard for PCs and equipped with
the Intel Pentium 4 processor and the TS-DRC3 Server board round
up this yearˇ¦s display of the company at Computex.
