Ever Electronics Corp. of Taiwan launched a newly designed CCD
Web camera on the Taipei International Electronics Spring show 2001.
This marked the company's entry into the production of digital audio-video
devices. Established in 1997, this company is one of the few IC
design houses in Taiwan that specializes in audio-video technology
"Unlike similar products in the market, which are mostly driven
by tow or three Ics. Our CCD camera runs on a single IC enabled
by the advanced digital signal processor (DSP technology that Ever
Electronics has developed over the years," the company's president
said. "That is why we can compete on reasonable prices while keeping
the quality high, Ling added.
According to the company, the new product has aroused "wild acclaim".
It therefore decided to further developing end user products bz
investing in TiDIN Electronics, a new affiliate dedicated to the
manufacturing of digitial-audio devices. TiDIN made its debut on
the Spring Electronics show.
In addition to remote monitoring devices, TiDN featured CCD cameras
that are specially designed for notebook computers and CCT (closed
circuit television ) at the show
