Yeong Yang Technology Inc., announces a grand opening of its Ningbo Factory in 9/3/00 in China. The first new product to be manufactured in this factory will be YY-55 series, which is ATX middle tower chassis and had been appraised by its major customers in the Computex this year in Taipei. This new facility will provide not only to current distribution channel but to OEM potential customers with high efficiency, high quality, and big capacity products which makes a break through for Yeong Yang's business development in the near future.

The first stage factory plant is 9216 m2 which can produce 200,000 chassises per month and more over the second stage will be started in September to delicate in system barebone production of 100,000 sets monthly. This project is number one scale in this tax-free zone so far. Due to 80 % sales allowance in domestic China, Yeong Yang is targeting some big system integrators domestically and also is aliening with some motherboard manufacturers in Taiwan now.

Mr. James Chang, CEO of Yeong Yang Technology Inc., points out the product strategy of the company will be ATX middle tower, micro mini tower, plus value desktop and web server of tiny tower which can be applied for both SOHO and business lines. As for the future product strategy, James emphasizes the IA and consumer products as a trend to adjust accordingly.
