Each individual blade features a 400W Cold Swap power supply to
support up to a 12" x 13" size dual processor (Xeon or
Opteron) server board, 1 x full size PCI slot via riser card, and
one internally-mounted slim CD and one 3.5" HDD. Power and
HDD status indicators, on/off, and reset switches are provided on
each blade for easy monitoring. The blade server enclosure is fitted
with three 120mm and four 80mm high-pressure high-output Hot Swap
fans totaling 900CFM, which are powered by two 120W power supplies
running in redundant mode. Fans can be monitored via I2C controller
with a DB-9 interface conveniently located in the back of the blade
server.

out there require customized boards, or a total solution including
the cabinet and power banks. Where ours would fit in any standard
cabinet, and each blade can be connected easily with a patch panel
and some CAT5 patch cables. It's an entry-level design that would
allow anyone to easily move into the blade era. Our exceptional
cooling design not only offers hot-swap capability, but also provides
unmatched air pressure and volume provided by the smaller fans."
