The BLT-220 comes with a 22-inch 16:9 display format. It has all the features one would expect to find in a high-end television set such as POP/PIP, 3D Combfilter, Digital TV scanning format up to 720p, different display modes (16:9, 4:3, Panorama), support for PC interface, among other features. The DLT-171 has a 17-inch 16:9 display format, and is targeted as a secondary TV for the home. This is an LCD TV model, which conveniently doubles as a nice display for wide screen computing or as a multimedia display for video games like X-box, Nintendo, etc. The PLT-171 utilizes glass as a main design concept. Supporting a 17-inch display in the more traditional 4:3 format, the PLT-171 is built with components specifically design for "pure TV" as opposed to "monitor TV."
