Evalue's ECM-5716 is a highly integrated 5.25-inch SBC that utilizes Low Voltage Pentium® M Processor with 1 MB L2 cache, 855PM chipset with 400 MHz front side bus, and up to 1 GB DDR SDRAM. The Pentium® M processor consumes between 12 W and 25 W of power during normal use, making the ECM-5716 highly reliable for mission-critical operations in harsh environments.

Premium Multimedia Platform & Network Functions
The ECM-5716 incorporates the Intel® 855GM integrated AGP high performance 256-bit GUI, 3D engine for its display capability. Intel® 855GM Chipset supports the 24 to 48-bit LVDS flat panel display directly, resulting in a low cost and stable LCD solution.

To meet the constantly increasing demands of communication applications, the ECM-5716 is equipped with Intel® ICH4 built-in and Intel® 82551QM PCI-bus 10/100Base-Tx fast Ethernet controllers. The Intel® 82551QM can be replaced with a Gigabit Ethernet as an alternative option. The onboard RICOH R5C551 card bus controller supports both PCMCIA Type I/II slot socket and IEE1394.

Edge Connectors & Expansion Slots
The ECM-5716 features a row of edge connectors to connect external devices with less cabling, including AC97 Audio, one serial port, one parallel port, four USB 2.0 ports, and dual IEEE 1394A ports, which support data speeds up to 400 Mbps for demanding multimedia processing. Additional functions can be easily extended with one PCI slot, and one Compact Flash socket.

Incorporating powerful Pentium® 4-level performance and low power consumption in small foot-print form factor, the ECM-5716 is most suitable for Internet, telecommunications, VOD (Voice-On-Demand), Image processing, medical, military, POS, POI, Kiosk, ATM banking, Web payphone, automation, security and other embedded applications.
