COMMELL Systems Corporation announces the new wallmount / standalone industrial PICMG PCI-ISA computing platform based on Intel latest Pentium 4 technology with 800 MHz FSB and dual channel DDR400 system memory. The WFB-6800 is also integrated with Intel PRO/1000 GbE, serial ATA, Hi-Speed USB 2.0, CompactFlash socket and offers four full-size PCI / ISA expansive slots for industrial applied computing platform and solution.

Powerful Computing Capacity with 800 MHz FSB and Dual Channel DDR SDRAM

Based on Intel 82865G GMCH and 82801EB ICH5, the WFB-6800 features the 800 MHz FSB on CPU host bus and dual channel DDR400 SDRAM on system memory bus, and offers the 6.4 GBps of data transfer bandwidth. The feature of Intel Pentium 4 processor delivers the reliable performance for industrial computing platform that needs the powerful processing capacity to handle their advanced applications.

Embedded 8xAGP Expansive Mini-AGP VGA Interface

To meet the demand of advanced video application, the WFB-6800 provides the onboard mini-AGP socket and supports the add-in 8xAGP ATI M10 embedded mini-AGP VGA module. With this feature, the user can choose the video solution between value Intel 865G GMCH built-in Intel Extreme Graphics 2 or the add-in 8xAGP ATI M10 VGA module with 64 MB independent VRAM, provide the advanced video and image processing capacity for the applications including video on demand (VoD), digital video recorder ( DVR), broadcasting (DVB), streaming, surveillance, compression, interaction servers and workstations.

Gigabit Ethernet Networking Solution

The WFB-6800 offers one Intel PRO/1000 GbE interface as the primary Ethernet port with Intel 865G GMCH and CSA Intel 82547EI controller, and one Intel PRO/100+ Fast Ethernet interface as the secondary Ethernet port with Intel ICH5 chipset and onboard Intel 82562ET Phy. The dual Ethernet ports provide the solution for WAN/LAN, external/internal multiple Ethernet application.

Front Access Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Port 

To meet the application of USB-based hot-swappable devices, the WFB-6800 provides the external front access USB port with Hi-Speed USB 2.0 compliant. It can make the user much easier to use the hot-swappable / plug-and-play USB-based keyboard, mouse, floppy, CD-ROM, and other non-ordinary devices. The front access USB port also offers the easy solution to use the USB-based flash disk and secret key.
