ADLINK is proud to launch a new ETX module for OEM customers who need tailored products but face pressure to get to the market fast. Measuring just 95mm by 114mm, the ETX-EV133 comes with full PC functionality including CRT and Flat Panel support, four USB ports, 10/100BaseT Ethernet, real-time clock, watchdog timer, and keyboard/mouse controller. The board is equipped with surface mounted low power VIA Eden CPUs in the range of 400MHz to 1GHz. BSPs for WinCE.Net, Linux, and VxWorks are readily available.

ETX means the fastest time-to-market
ETX modules connect through four low profile standardized I/O connectors to an application specific carrier board. The I/O connectors transfer peripheral signals and ISA and PCI signals. Off-the-shelf ETX modules are complemented by custom made carrier boards for the end user's application. Since design and manufacturing of carrier boards is quick and simple, the module-carrier combination constitutes the fastest time-to-market today.

ETX-EV133 Development Kit

A development kit is available to simplify software development under Linux in a host-target environment. The development kit includes an embedded linux toolkit--a compilation vital tools--and procedures concentrated in a self contained bootable USB device. In addition to an ETX-EV133, the kit includes a prototype board, cabling, USB devices and software, and a development manual. The connection to the host is legacy free and requires just one free USB port. This allows you to start doing development from any host system with a free USB port (i.e. a notebook computer).
