The existing regular 450mm deep 4U chassis only install half size M/B 12'x 9" , If customer wants to fix full size M/B 12" x 13", must to make deeper chassis to get more space for 12" x 13" M/B, the deeper chassis will cause the costs more.

If customer want to have 12" x 13" M/B in 450mm deep 4U chassis, then, the regular supply will take off some components form the chassis for more space for 12"x 13" M/B, it will sacrifice a lots function.

To consider the above problems, we accept our customer's requirement to develop new configuration for 12" x 13" M/B, w/ 6 x 3.5" HDD, 1 x 2.5" FDD and 2 x Slim CD-ROM in 450mm 4U chassis, it's not only save the costs, but also keep all construction well.

Introduction :
The SMA-409 is designed for 4U Dual Intel Xeon Internet Server.It supports Dual Intel PGA 603-pin Xeon processors and 8GB ECC REG DDR RAM, Dual Intel 82541 Gigabit Ethernet, ATI Rage XL 8MB PCI graphic, two 64-bits 133MHz PCI-X slots, two 32-bit 133MHz PCI slots (option), Integrated I/O, Ultra 160 SCSI SCA-2 hot swappable, six HDD bays, two 5.25"driver bays, one 3.5"FDD bay.
