Evalue has recently announced a powerful 5.25' Single Board Computer aimed at embedded applications requiring the dynamic multimedia and data processing capability in small foot-print solutions. Utilizing an Intel Pentium 4 / Celeron processor and SiS 651 chipset, the ECM-5710 provides high speed performance up to 3.06 GHz with 533 MHz FSB, and features one DDR socket up to 1GB DDR 333 SDRAM, LVDS, TV-out, Audio and Dual LAN. The SiS 651 architecture works perfectly with the Pentium 4 processor, enabling balanced memory usage between graphics and the system for optimal performance.

**Versatile Display Functions
Its onboard SiS651 chipset delivers ultimate graphics support with integrated AGP4X 2D and 3D graphic engine that support LCD/CRT with a frame buffer up to 64 MB. The ECM-5710 supports TV-out and LVDS with two digital graphics input data streams. The TV encoder device encodes a graphics signal up to 1024 x 768 resolutions and outputs the video signals complying with NTSC or PAL standards. The LVDS transmitter operates at pixel speeds up to 165 MHz per link, supporting 1280 x 1024 panels at 60Hz refresh rate.

**Rich Multimedia, Networking & Expansion Features
Furthermore, the ECM-5710 supports AC'97 2.0 compliance with optional support for Line-in, Line-out, MIC, CD Audio in, Line out, Speaker out. Ethernet function is available by applying two Realtek or Intel 10/100Base-Tx Ethernet Controllers.

The board comes with an IEEE 1394 and dual USB 2.0 ports that deliver increased maximum bandwidth with a peak transfer rate of up to 480 Mbps for I/O-intensive applications. Other features include four serial ports, one parallel and dual UltraDMA ports supporting four EIDE devices up to 133 MHz.

One CompactFlash card Type I/II and 32-bit PCI slot are available for additional expansion such as Gigabit LAN, Wireless and optional storage solution.
