Evalue's latest market release is a range of firewall solutions designed for SOHO and industry applications. Included in this range is the powerful ECP-5614, a 5.25-inch (CD-ROM size) single board computer (SBC). The ECP-5614 supports Intel's FCPGA/FCPGA2 Pentium III or Celeron processors up to 1 GHz. This super compact yet powerful SBC is designed with AGP 4X 3D graphics, four 10/100Base-Tx Ethernet ports, four USB ports, an LCD interface, AC97 audio, and a Type I/II CompactFlash (CF) socket. The board also supports the ENA-7140 1U rack-mount network security platform as the core engine to help customers quickly build their own systems within budget.

The ECP-5614 features four Realtek 8100B or optional Intel 82550/82559/82559ER PCI-bus Ethernet controllers onboard. Running on Intel FCPGA/FCPGA2 Pentium III or Celeron processors with speeds up to 1 GHz, the ECP-5614 has the processing power and reliability to handle critical applications in any network environment. Furthermore, one PCI slot and one Mini-PCI socket allow for additional hardware expansion. The PCI slot accepts PCI add-on cards for encryption acceleration, or dual-LAN cards for two more 10/100/1000Base-Tx Ethernet interfaces to strengthen its network throughput.

Memory options come in the form of a 168-pin DIMM socket, which supports up to 256 MB SDRAM. Alternatively, models with 32/64/128 MB SDRAM onboard can be ordered. The CF socket supports Type I/II CF memory devices for additional storage. The 4-bit TTL digital output function enables feedback for abnormal network status.
