More and more customers continued to ask increased demand for PCI bus solutions. Acrosser offers AR-B1641 to provide new PCI based solutions to answer customers' requests. AR-B1641 is based on the latest Intel Pentium III Tualatin processor and clock speeds of up to 1.26GHz, the highest clock speed for Pentium III nowadays. A brand-new all-in-one industrial grade CPU card brings an innovative automation, communication and networking applications.

Owing to Tualatin uses Intel's new 0.13-micron manufacturing process, which allows smaller circuits to be printed on the chip, thus increasing the processing power that can be squeezed onto a piece of silicon. The 0.13-micron manufacturing process essentially shrinks the size of processor features from the current 0.18-micron process. That means faster chips that consume less power. Besides, another advantage of AR-B1641 is using the PCI bus standard is the higher performance of 32-bits at 33 MHz compared to the ISA buses' standard 8/16-bits at 8 MHz. This increased performance makes PCI cards especially attractive for communication applications and also provide for easy expansion.

In addition to the above, the AR-B1641 supports Intel graphic controller with Intel Dynamic Video memory Technology, resolution up to 1600x1200x256colors@85Hz, and has Intel 82562ET, Intel 82559 chip, support dual 10/100BASE-TX Ethernet, Wake-on-LAN via ATX power supply. There are two PCI IDE ports support up to four IDE devices, one FDD port support up to two floppy devices, two COM ports, one multi-mode parallel port.
