The clever design of the Gene-6320 allows it to
be ordered in one of four different feature configurations:
- One Intel®82540EM Gigabit Ethernet Controller
port with audio (an AAEON first!)
- One Intel®82540EM Gigabit Ethernet Controller
port and one IntelR 82551QM Fast Ethernet 10/100 Base-T port
(no audio)
- One Intel®82559ER Fast Ethernet 10/100
Base-T port with audio
- Dual Intel®82559ER Fast Ethernet 10/100
Base-T ports (no audio)
This does not include the fact that the board can be ordered
with either Intel®Celeron®processor - Ultra Low Voltage
at 300Mhz (fanless solution) or the Intel
Pentium
processor - Low Power at 700MHz processor, which adds to its versatility
in addressing customers' needs.

Gigabit Ethernet Controller architecture, for example, is optimized
to deliver both high performance and PCI bus efficiency with the
lowest power and smallest die size. Using state logic design with
a pipelined DMA Unit and 128 bit wide buses for the fastest performance,
the 82540EM controller handles Gigabit Ethernet traffic with low
network latency and minimal internal processing overhead."

The Gene-6320 has superior features, performance and expandability
with a PCI-104 connector; yet it still requires only 5 Volts DC
input power in a 5.75" (146mm) x 4" (101.6mm) size.
