JAHT launched the new product - WP-2001B(ER), the 802.11b Wireless LAN AP with WDS Repeater. WP-2001B(ER) provides multiple applications with AP, AP Bridging and AP Repeater. Users can use the AP to set up a network between buildings wirelessly. Moreover, this access point supports Wireless Distribution System (WDS) with enables you to extend the wireless network without any wired backbone, large areas are able to be covered and wiring is not required.

WP-2001B(ER) supports both WEP and IEEE 802.1X port-based network access control functions to consolidate the wireless network security. Based on the IEEE 802.1X WP-2001B(ER) cannot only use Remote Radius Server to authenticate the wireless solutions, but also utilize a built-in RADIUS authentication server that allows users being authentication through the WP-2001B(ER) itself. The built-in RADIUS Server can also be the authentication server for other wireless devices.
