Taiwan at CeBIT 2007: Invitation and Pavilion Guide!

Dear Reader:

According to the 2006 export statistics by the Taiwan ministry of economics, the country's total export volume of USD 299.31 Billion was dominated by an USD 61.73 Billion export volume for ITC products, a hefty 20.3 % increase over a already prosperous 2005.

Consequently, Taiwan maintains its position as Asia's number one supplier of ITC hardware to the rest of the world, and, also consequently consequent, upholds its decade-old tradition of mustering the most numerous foreign contingent to CeBIT, which Taiwan 's ITC industry's considers its most favored export window to the world.

This year's total of 573 exhibitors to-date seems to indicate a decline over recent years, but is mainly due to those Taiwan enterprises which increasingly register either from sister factories in Mainland China or from their European operations, all of which are then counted as exhibitors of these respective countries, regardless of their original origin thanks to the unified auditing rules of FKM, Germany's trade fair statistics verification body.

So come, all ye faithful - - and enjoy Taiwan at CeBIT 2007!
