Taiwan at CeBIT 2007: Welcome back to the Hardware Store !

Dear Reader:
Three years ago, I wrote at this occasion, and as nothing has changed, here it is again:
Taiwan was, still is, and probably will continue to be the world's number one source for all major categories of ICT hardware, and a close second for the rest.
Consequently, Taiwan makers in Halls 20, 21 and 24 will again present the highest density of suppliers for this genre and indicates that this industry unchanged considers CeBIT Hannover its main market to challenge international competition, especially that of cheaper low-end products from the Mainland. They know that they can expect buyers from all continents to appreciate their products and to distribute them to the far sides of the world.
Taiwan's ICT Daily, DigiTimes i.e. recently reported that Russia's leading hardwaresupplier Pirit sources 90 percent of its overseas procurement in Taiwan for that country's emerging market - - how's that for encouragement ?
The above mentioned halls at will feature PC peripheral components such as: Graphic and Sound Cards – Speakers - DVB-T - Keyboards - Mouses ( or is it Mice ? ) - PC Cases - Coolers - Cables and Connectors - NB Bags - MP3 – USB - TV Tuner Cards - Headphones and Speakers - Memory Modules - and Power Supplies. Especially Taiwan power-supply makers, whose products power over 50 percent of computers worldwide, never cease rolling out high-power models, as computers, wether for industrial or personal use, eat up more and more electricity. The island's power supplier makers say if you can make power supplies for computer use, you can make them for all other power-hungry devices as well, including consumer electronics appliances, because those for computer use are made to the most demanding customer specifications.
In order not to let this e-paper degenerate into a radio shack inventory control, let us sample a few Taiwan companies at CeBIT, wether on the TAIWAN PERIPHERAL PAVILIONS or as individual exhibitors.

Keymouse will introduce a new switching power supplyy – the Fanless Power 80 Plus, a keyboard with standard/multimedia scissor structure, a multi color TSGCC chassis and a 100K/350K/ 1.3M webcam with microphone.
GeIL or Golden Emperor International for longhand, features the DDR2 GamngSeries/Black Dragon, a migh performance DDR2 memory module, solely dedicated to high performance graphics and gaming.
