This is my second e-paper to raise your attention for the very first CeBIT event in the United States. Today, let me brief you on the organizer's unique idea of a multi-level conference program, targeting in parallel three different corporate echelons. Mind you, CeBIT America is that 3-day strictly business to business conference and tradeshow, designed to provide direct access to the world's systems, applications, communications and networking leaders - - in one place, at one time, June 18-20, at the Jacob K. Javits Center in downtown Manhattan, New York City.

A. The CeBIT America IT Executive Conference, presented by ZDnet

Attendees of this two-track conference program will be individuals with top-line responsibility for the selection, development, deployment and maintenance of all technology initiatives within the enterprise. The department heads reporting to them may manage day-to-day oversight of the company's IT and networking infrastructure, and application development operations, but it is the IT executives who must ultimately drive these key initiatives forward with strategic insight and fiscal accountability. B. The CeBIT America IT Manager Conference, presented by TechRepublic

IT Managers are charged with overseeing day-to-day operations of the enterprise's vital "life-support" systems for data communications. Even as the economic downturn brings increasing pressure to reduce costs and redeploy dwindling IT resources, these individuals must continue to drive their organizations forward with the timely introduction of innovative systems and procedures capable of increasing productivity and competitive advantage. Issues of infrastructure deployment, performance, interoperability, security and management take precedence in this two-track conference topics "Communications & Networks" and "Platforms & Infrastructure".

C. The CeBIT America Developer Conference, presented by Builder.com

This conference is sub-divided into "Enterprise Applications" and "The Working Web" with at total of 16 sessions, each presided over by respected experts in their particular fields. This conference is custom-designed for the busy application professional looking for the latest information, in an efficient business-to-business environment. In summing up, you might be sure already at this point that the substance of these three conferences could differ somewhat from those token ancillaries of so many run-off-the mill trade shows.
